Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 13,35,191.83 crore on March 15 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,40,66,371.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 20,361.88 crore, Stock Futures Rs 46,056.43 crore and Index Options Rs 12,39,432.53 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 29,341.00 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.77, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.78 and that of Stock Options was 0.45.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Allahabad Bank (1.22), Repco Home Finance (1.12), Andhra Bank (1.06), DLF (1.02) and Bank of Baroda (1.00).
Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 1.87 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing an addition of 1.94 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Tata Consultancy Services witnessed an addition of 0.06 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.01 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 2.91 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
