Cement major, ACC’s cement production in June 2012 has increased by 4.23% at 1.97 million tonne, as against 1.89million tonne in the year-ago period. The company's dispatches in the month were up by 2.61% at 1.96 million tonne, as against 1.91 million tonne in same month last year.
On cumulative basis, for the January-June period this year, its production increased 5.58% at 12.86 million tonne as against 12.18 million tonne in the year-ago, while its dispatches for the same period surged 5.00% at 12.79 million tonne as against 12.18 million tonne in the corresponding period.
ACC is India’s foremost manufacturer of cement and concrete. The company’s operations are spread throughout the country with 14 modern cement factories, more than 30 ready mix concrete plants, 20 sales offices, and several zonal offices.
