According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 249.12 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, July 02, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 41.97 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 291.09 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 52.11 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 3.16 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on July 02, 2012 is 33.05%.
