FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 16 data: NSDL

16 Mar 2018 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4752.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 4945.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 192.78 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2025.91 crore with gross sales of Rs 3944.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1918.38 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 0.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.59 crore in hybrid segment.
