Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Monday due to lack of genuine buyers in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 125/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 125.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 121/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 122/ kg.

In the futures market, April delivery slid to Rs 124.62 compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.47, while May delivery closed at Rs 126.99 compared to its previous close of Rs 129.48 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
