Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Tuesday due to lack of genuine buyers in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 124/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 125/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 120.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121/ kg.

In the futures market, April delivery slid to Rs 121.89 compared to its previous closing of Rs 124.62, while May delivery closed at Rs 123.99 compared to its previous close of Rs 126.99 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
