Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs 324.05, up by 4.55 points or 1.42% from its previous closing of Rs 319.50 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 319.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 325.00 and Rs 319.00 respectively. So far 156,000 shares were traded on the counter.
Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs 85.80, up by 3.90 points or 4.76% from its previous closing of Rs 81.90 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 82.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 86.70 and Rs 82.50 respectively. So far 424409 shares were traded on the counter.
Shares of Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular are trading in green since previous session after the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) reported a split verdict on the 3G roaming case. The tribunal said both the parties could appeal at a higher court, according to one lawyer on the case, after one judge voted in favour of the government and the other in favour of the mobile phone operators. However, in a big relief to these operators, regulatory authority announced that the companies could continue with their roaming services till further directions from department of telecommunications or DoT.
