Divis Laboratories’ unit-1 at vill., Lingojigudem, Choutuppal Mandal near Hyderabad had been inspected by the US-FDA. The intention of this inspection was for product pre-approval and general current good manufacturing practices. The audit concluded with minor observations primarily about additional records for further improvement of existing records.

The company has registered a growth of 26.55% in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 435.57 crore as compared to Rs 344.20 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has increased by 40.00% at Rs 1344.04 crore for the year from Rs 959.98 crore in previous year.
