Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 4,89,832.89 crore on April 9 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 55,81,632.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 17,266.60 crore, Stock Futures Rs 48,557.63 crore and Index Options Rs 3,89,657.40 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 34,351.26 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.92, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.99 and that of Stock Options was 0.45.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Hero MotoCorp (1.33), ICICI Bank (1.29), Oil India (1.13), Kotak Bank (1.40) and Bank Baroda (0.93).
Among most active underlying, ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 31,18,500 million units of Open Interest in the April month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing a contraction of 21,54,000 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, Titan witnessed a contraction of 1,54,500 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract, Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.08 million units of Open Interest in the April month contract and Maruti Suzuki India witnessed an addition of 0.05 million units of Open Interest in the April month future contract.
