Bharat Forge, the flagship company of the Kalyani Group, has bagged two major export orders in the Protected Vehicles segment. The first order of 10 numbers is for the 4 x 4 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), Class II (STANAG 4569) for the UN missions of Indian Army. The second big order is for the supply of its Armour Troop Carrier (ATC) to an Asian country. The first order has already been delivered and the second order is presently under delivery.
Both the APC and ATC are suitably fitted with 360 degree rotating armored turret with modular weapon mounts to meet lethality requirements. The vehicles have been successfully tested and evaluated by armies globally, including Indian Army.
Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
