Reliance Capital’s subsidiary -- Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company has reported a the total premium of Rs 4,042 crore ($622 million) in FY18. The renewal premium rose to Rs 3,154 crore ($485 million) - a Y-o-Y increase of 6%.
The assets under management stood at Rs 19,096 crore ($2.9 billion), as on March 31, 2018, while the Embedded Value stood at Rs 3,220 crore ($495 million).
As on March 31, 2018, there were approximately 3 million policies in force with a total sum assured of over Rs 96,000 crore.
