SAIL inks pact with Airports Authority of India

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has inked a pact with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for utilization of airstrips at its three facilities -- Rourkela, Bokaro and Burnpur -- under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) - UDAN.

SAIL is India’s largest steel producing company. The company is among the five Maharatnas of the country’s Central Public Sector Enterprises. The company has five integrated steel plants, three special plants, and one subsidiary in different parts of the country.
