DCM Shriram gets nod for investment proposal, capacity expansion at Kota plant

DCM Shriram has received an approval for the investment proposal of PVC - Replacement of Polymerisers with Capacity Expansion at company's Plant at Kota. The Board of Directors of the company in their meeting held on April 24, 2018, approved the same.

Post expansion, the plant’s capacity will reach to 220 tonnes per day from existing capacity of 180 tonnes per day.

The existing plants are running at their full capacity. The present KF polymers have outlived its life and needs to be replaced with 110 TPD Chisso Polymer. Further, this expansion will help in meeting growing demand and deriving economies of scale.

DCM Shriram is engaged in the business of fertilizer, sugar and caustic soda.
