Siemens rises on bagging contract from Nepal Electricity Authority

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 1096.00, up by 4.65 points or 0.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 1091.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1093.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1098.00 and Rs. 1086.85 respectively. So far 1300 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1470.00 on 10-05-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1056.10 on 20-Apr-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1110.00 and Rs. 1056.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 38865.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.29% and 10.71% respectively.

Siemens has bagged a contract from the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to upgrade the energy management system at its Load Dispatch Center (LDC) in Kathmandu.

NEA has selected Siemens for upgrading its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/ Energy Management System (SCADA/EMS) at its LDC.
