ABB surges on inaugurating innovative micro-grid solution at Vadodora manufacturing facility

ABB India is currently trading at Rs. 1360.75, up by 15.65 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 1345.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1355.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1380.00 and Rs. 1354.55 respectively. So far 17197 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1744.40 on 02-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1175.00 on 18-Jul-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,380.00 and Rs. 1,248.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28861.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.76% and 8.24% respectively.

ABB has inaugurated an innovative micro-grid solution at its Vadodora manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India. This is the company’s largest facility in India, with over 3,000 employees and among ABB’s biggest manufacturing hubs in the world.

The micro-grid is the first of its kind to be installed at a manufacturing campus in India, and will harness the area’s abundant solar energy supply to help the expanding factory meet its growing electricity needs, while lowering its carbon footprint.
