Godrej Consumer Products reports 59% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Godrej Consumer Products has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 17.71% in its net profit at Rs 295.13 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 250.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased marginally by 1.24% at Rs 1391.12 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1374.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 59.24% in its net profit at Rs 617.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 387.58 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total income of the company increased marginally by 1.70% at Rs 2557.88 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2515.19 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 17.95% in its net profit at Rs 999.87 crore as compared to Rs 847.72 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.36% at Rs 5428.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5152.59 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 25.31% in its net profit at Rs 1634.18 crore as compared to Rs 1304.08 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased marginally by 3.72% at Rs 10044.54 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9684.10 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
