Solar Industries rises on the bourses

Solar Industries (India) is currently trading at Rs. 1060.00, up by 1.20 points or 0.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 1058.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1061.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1067.00 and Rs. 1050.00 respectively. So far 169 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1232.15 on 09-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 785.00 on 09-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1070.00 and Rs. 1036.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9573.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.57% and 5.28% respectively.

Credit rating agency, CRISIL has reaffirmed rating assigned to Solar Industries’ bank loan facilities worth Rs 750 crore.

The rating agency has reaffirmed long term bank loan facilities rating at ‘AA/Positive’, and short term bank loan facilities rating at ‘A1+’. The rating agency has also reaffirmed the company’s commercial paper rating at ‘A1+’ worth Rs 50 crore.

Solar Industries (India) manufactures various explosives products, such as Slurry and emulsion base explosives, bulk explosives, detonators, pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) and accessories.
