Tata Communications has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The company has reported a net profit at Rs 191.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 1,264.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has reported over 2-fold jump at Rs 1,558.44 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 666.41 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 120.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 261.75 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income of the company fall 3.49% at Rs 4,241.54 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4,394.88 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a fall of 61.35% in its net profit at Rs 266.63 crore as compared to Rs 689.83 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company increased by 10.38% at Rs 5,575.56 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5,051.24 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a net loss at Rs 328.60 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1232.87 crore for previous year. Total income of company decreased by 5.28% at Rs 17,031.35 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 17,980.02 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
