Britannia Industries’ Q4 consolidated net profit jumps 25%

Britannia Industries has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 24.38% in its net profit at Rs 244.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 196.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 10.70% at Rs 2428.40 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2193.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 24.99% in its net profit at Rs 263.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 210.90 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 9.89% at Rs 2581.93 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2349.63 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 12.35% in its net profit at Rs 947.89 crore as compared to Rs 843.69 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 8.01% at Rs 9536.10 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8829.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 13.54% in its net profit at Rs 1004.23 crore as compared to Rs 884.47 crore for the previous year. Total consolidated income of company increased by 7.20% at Rs 10156.47 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9474.65 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
