Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 15,16,746.20 crore on May 24 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,60,49,764.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 20,932.79 crore, Stock Futures Rs 59,058.32 crore and Index Options Rs 13,81,993.85 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 54,761.24 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.84, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.56.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were State Bank of India (1.60), Dish TV (1.43), Asian Paint (1.35), Just Dial (1.30) and Axis Bank (1.29).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 0.90 million units of Open Interest in the May month futures contract, followed by Tata Motors witnessing a contraction of 0.14 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract, Infosys witnessed a contraction of 1.80 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract, Tata Consultancy Services witnessed a contraction of 0.13 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract and Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.76 million units of Open Interest in the May month future contract.
