Essar Shipping has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The company has reported a net loss (before exceptional items) of Rs 43.74 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net profit (before exceptional items) of Rs 76.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 38.06% at Rs 189.83 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 306.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a net loss (before exceptional items) of Rs 178.14 crore as compared to net loss (before exceptional items) of Rs 140.61 crore for the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 11.02% at Rs 703.55 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 790.67 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
