FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 31 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5358.28 crore against gross selling of Rs 6439.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1080.85 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 708.83 crore with gross sales of Rs 1463.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 754.69 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.49 crore against gross selling of Rs 0.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.25 crore in hybrid segment.
