Bharat Electronics trades higher on the BSE

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 118.75, up by 0.15 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 118.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 119.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 119.15 and Rs. 118.55 respectively. So far 3092 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 192.95 on 29-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 110.00 on 04-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 122.00 and Rs. 110.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28897.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.29% and 8.92% respectively.

Bharat Electronics has inaugurated a 16 MW grid-connected Solar Power Plant set up by Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics (BEL) at Heavy Vehicle Factory (HVF). The Power Plant is developed in around 80 acres of land, has been set up at an approximate cost of Rs 105 crore for the annual captive consumption of HVF & Engine Factory (EFA), Avadi, around 25 km from Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The plant will inject power at 110 kV to Tantransco’s 110 kV Sub-Station located around 2.5 km away and is expected to result in annual savings of Rs 4.54 crore for both, HVF and EFA.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
