Shoppers Stop has closed its ‘Shoppers Stop’ store at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh on June 10, 2018. The company has closed its store due to the non-renewal of airport store premises agreement.
During the last financial year 2017-18, sales from this store was Rs 3.55 crore, which is 0.08% of the turnover of the Company. With this closure, the Company has now 83 stores, including five airport stores under its operations.
Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
