SAIL delivers 60,000 tonnes steel for railway project in Manipur

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has delivered 60,000 tonnes steel for 111 km long Jiribam-Imphal broad gauge railway project in Manipur. The said project is being constructed by Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).

SAIL is India’s largest steel producing company. The company is among the five Maharatnas of the country’s Central Public Sector Enterprises. The company has five integrated steel plants, three special plants, and one subsidiary in different parts of the country.
