With reference to the news report appearing in the Business Standard dated June 20, 2018, wherein it was stated that the mandatory open offer made by Procter & Gamble Overseas India B.V. has opened on June 13 and will close on June 26, 2018. Merck has informed that the tendering process under the open offer, as announced by Procter & Gamble Overseas India B.V. vide their public announcement dated April 19, 2018, the detailed public statement dated April 26, 2018 and the draft letter of offer dated May 7, 2018, has not yet commenced.
