Magma Fincorp has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 78.88% in its net profit at Rs 25.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 14.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 52.20% at Rs 304.79 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 200.26 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
Magma Fincorp is a non-deposit taking non-banking finance company (NBFC), registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as an Asset Finance Company. The company, having started operations over two decades back, is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange in India.
