Jindal Saw has informed that on January 17, 2018, Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, United States of America received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports from welded pipe from India, China, Turkey, Greece, Korea & Canada filed on behalf of US manufacturers.The US Commerce Department has come out with a notification dated 20th June, 2018 whereby they have levied a preliminary countervailing duty of 541.15% on exports of welded pipes in the diameter size range of 16 and above with from India.
