Tata Steel reports 7.82% rise in domestic production

Tata Steel has reported 7.82% rise in domestic production at 3.17 million tonnes (MT) and 8% increase in sales at 2.97 MT in the June quarter.

The production stood at 2.94 MT and sales at 2.75 MT in the same period last year, and at 3.07 MT and 3.03 MT, respectively, in the March quarter this year.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
