Tata Steel planning to sell South-East Asia operations: Report

Tata Steel is reportedly planning to sell some of its South-East Asian businesses in order to focus on the Indian market. The company has appointed a banker in Singapore to look for buyers for its subsidiaries NatSteel Holdings in Singapore and Tata Steel in Thailand.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
