HT Media has received in principle approval to consolidate the radio businesses (except the radio stations in Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh) of the company and HT Music & Entertainment Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company (HTM), in Next Mediaworks (NMW), a company listed on BSE and NSE a along with the radio businesses of Next Radio (NRL) to be implemented by way of a composite scheme of arrangement and amalgamation. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on July 18, 2018, approved the same.
HT Media is engaged in printing and publishing of newspapers. The company’s segments include Printing & Publishing; Radio Broadcast & Entertainment, and Digital.
