V-Mart Retail reports 11% rise in Q1 net profit

V-Mart Retail has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 11.23% in its net profit at Rs 24.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 22.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.50% at Rs 362.09 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 316.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
