Ambuja Cements has reported results for second quarter ended June 30, 2018.
The company has reported a rise of 27.29% in its net profit at Rs 499.27 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 392.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 3.36% at Rs 3208.01 crore for the June quarter as compared Rs 3319.42 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 4.70% in its net profit at Rs 684.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 718.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company decreased by 5.10% at Rs 6,917.16 crore for the June quarter as compared Rs 7,288.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
