Genus Power surges on receiving LoI for supply of 5 million prepaid meters

Genus Power Infrastructures is currently trading at Rs. 44.40, up by 2.60 points or 6.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 41.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 42.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 44.45 and Rs. 41.35 respectively. So far 120617 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 86.00 on 15-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 37.60 on 06-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 44.45 and Rs. 38.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1067.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.59% and 37.94% respectively.

Genus Power Infrastructures has received Letter Of Intent (LoI) for supply of 5 million single phase prepaid meter with box on back to back arrangement for supply to EESL. The value of this LoI is pegged at approximately Rs 650 crore.

Genus Power Infrastructures  is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
