Mercator surges on bagging order worth Rs 26.39 crore

Mercator is currently trading at Rs. 22.80, up by 0.60 points or 2.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 22.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 23.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 23.00 and Rs. 22.10 respectively. So far 38930 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 49.00 on 01-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.80 on 20-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 23.00 and Rs. 19.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 671.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.48% and 53.67% respectively.

Mercator has won a Maintenance Dredging Contract of Goa Naval Area having a contract value of Rs 26.39 crore. The contract is for a block year 2018-20, 50% of the project shall be executed in FY 2019 and the remaining portion in FY 2020.

Mercator is one of India's largest private sector Dredging Company. The group has a presence in varied segments namely shipping, offshore services, oil exploration and production, dredging, coal mining/trading and logistics.
