Genesys International surges on signing MoU with Wipro for autonomous vehicles

Genesys International Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 212.70, up by 4.20 points or 2.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 208.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 203.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 220.00 and Rs. 203.40 respectively. So far 10408 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 390.00 on 11-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 166.40 on 19-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 224.90 and Rs. 197.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 646.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.58% and 41.78% respectively.

Genesys International Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wipro to jointly tap the opportunity in the autonomous car sector. As per the MoU, the company will use its core strength and the expertise to develop HD Maps and Content while Wipro will develop the navigational and control technology for autonomous system and smart mobility companies.

The first activity under this MoU was to create an HD map of the Wipro campus in Bengaluru. This has now enabled the pilot vehicle, developed by Wipro, to drive around the campus autonomously.
