S Chand and Company has received an approval for the investment in Chetana Publications (India) LLP for an amount of Rs 58.50 crore. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on August 08, 2018, approved the same.

The Board also approved the term loan of Rs 25.00 crore from Axis Finance for making investment in Chetana Publications (India) LLP. Besides, the company received approval for the investment in S. Chand Edutech up to an amount of Rs 10 crore.

S Chand and Company delivers content, solutions and services across the education lifecycle through its K-12, higher education and early learning segments.
