Bharat Forge gains on reporting 34% rise in Q1 net profit

Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 634.45, up by 3.50 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 630.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 637.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 638.45 and Rs. 627.85 respectively. So far 36735 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 799.65 on 01-Mar-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 555.15 on 10-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 652.45 and Rs. 623.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 29504.35 crore.

Bharat Forge has reported 33.92% rise in its net profit at Rs 234.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 175.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.93% at Rs 1,513.91 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 1,283.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
