According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 251.14 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 272.75 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 21.61 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 270.18 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 7.06 crore.
