Reliance Communications (RCom) and Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm -- Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) have signed Agreement for Change in Spectrum Allotment in 800 MHz band across 22 Circles from RCOM to RJIL. Spectrum referred to under this agreement does not include any of the spectrum covered in the Master Agreement entered into between the companies on December 28, 2017.
The above transaction is part of RCom’s ongoing Asset Monetization. The transaction is subject to receipt of requisite approvals from Governmental and regulatory authorities and consents from all lenders.
