Physical rubber prices remained weak on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices continued its bearish run on Wednesday due to buyer resistance further aggravated by weaker closing of futures.

Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety declined to Rs. 184/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 185/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs. 178/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs.179/ kg.

In the futures market, the contract of RSS- 4 August delivery slipped to Rs. 180.38 compared to its previous close of Rs. 181.31, while September delivery closed at Rs. 179.47 compared to its previous close of Rs. 180.78 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
