Magma Fincorp has received fundamental grade of 3/5 from rating agency CRISIL Research. The grade indicates that the company’s fundamentals are ‘good’ relative to other listed equity securities in India. The rating agency has also assigned a valuation grade of 5/5 to the company.
The company has received the said grade on the back of its established presence in the target market and its strong growth record (disbursements grew by 24% CAGR over FY07-12).
Magma Fincorp is a non-deposit taking non-banking finance company (NBFC), registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as an asset finance company. The company, having started operations over two decades back, is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange in India.
