FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 20 data: NSDL

20 Aug 2018 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10768.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 12104.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1335.66 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 695.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 1045.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 350.48 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross selling was of Rs 3.15 crore against no buying. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3.15 crore in hybrid segment.
