V-Mart Retail is planning to have around 205 stores by the end of this FY-19 by adding 35 stores and expanding its sales network. The company is entering into the northeast region and will open four stores in Assam, it is aiming to have 20 stores in the region in next two years. Besides, the company will also open two stores in October in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
