Prataap Snacks will acquire stake in Avadh Snacks, Gujarat’s leading snacks Food company. The company has agreed to acquire 80% equity stake for a consideration of Rs 148 crore through a combination of primary & secondary investment.
The product bouquet of Prataap Snacks and Avadh Snacks are complementary and will create a balanced portfolio with a mix of regional and national flavours & variants across categories. The acquisition will also lead to a significant synergy in distribution across Gujarat and neighbouring markets.
Prataap Snacks is Indore-based Indian Snack Food Company. It sells products under the brand name ‘Yellow Diamond’. The company is among the top 6 Indian organized snack market. It has a diversified product portfolio including traditional and western snacks.
