FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 24 data: NSDL

24 Aug 2018 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6422.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 6007.67 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 415.14 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 981.15 crore with gross sales of Rs 291.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 689.66 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.19 crore against gross selling of Rs 0.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.70 crore in hybrid segment.
