FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 31 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6978.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 6179.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 798.97 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 968.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 2062.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1094.90 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 0.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.46 crore in hybrid segment.
