Idea Cellular has raised funds worth Rs 1500 crore on private placement basis. The Securities Allotment Committee at their meeting held September 03, 2018, has allotted 15,000 Unsecured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Rs 10 lakh each.

Idea Cellular is an AV Birla group company and provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level.
