Infosys gains on forming JV with Temasek

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 732.10, up by 4.15 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 727.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 733.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 737.00 and Rs. 724.75 respectively. So far 38882 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 748.45 on 05-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 437.00 on 11-Sep-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 748.45 and Rs. 715.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 317996.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 12.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.37% and 12.66% respectively.

Infosys has formed a joint venture (JV) with Temasek, the global investment company headquartered in Singapore. The joint venture will integrate teams from Infosys and the operations of Temasek’s wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore, Trusted Source, which currently delivers IT services to Temasek and a number of other clients.

As part of the transaction, the company will acquire a 60% stake in the joint venture and Temasek will hold 40%. The agreement was signed by the parties last night and is effective immediately.
