Suzlon rises on entering into partnership with CLP India

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 7.15, up by 0.03 points or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.12 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7.20 and Rs. 7.09 respectively. So far 1238582 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 17.50 on 13-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.66 on 05-Sep-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7.25 and Rs. 6.66 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3808.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.65% and 61.53% respectively.

Suzlon Energy and CLP India have entered into a partnership for two solar projects of 50 MW and 20 MW in Dhule, Maharashtra. As per the agreement signed between CLP India and Suzlon Group on September 10, 2018, CLP India has agreed to acquire 49% stake in Gale Solarfarms and Tornado Solarfarms, two special purpose vehicles (SPV) set?up by Suzlon. CLP India has the option to acquire the balance 51% stake in the future. Suzlon is responsible to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for these projects that are already commissioned.
